Creditinfo and Da Afghanistan Bank sign multi year SLA

Creditinfo continues to successfully develop and grow the project for the central bank, Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB).  Earlier this month, adding to the existing project, DAB  contracted with Creditinfo a further multi-year Service Level Agreement (SLA) where Creditinfo’s expert team of programmers, analysts  and consultants, will continue to service and maintain the DAB’s credit bureau solution, CBS5.  Creditinfo’s CBS5 system is fully integrated into DABs credit information and risk management processes.

DAB opened the first online Public Credit Registry (PCR) system to enhance access to financial resources and loan facilities in the country, in December 2013.

“This additional SLA supplements the Terms of Service currently provided and is an important milestone in our continuing support of DAB,” said Mr. Almar Hilmarsson, Chief Executive Officer, Creditinfo International and Creditinfo Solutions.  He continued, ”we are also very pleased that DAB continue to show their satisfaction with the Creditinfo’s teams performance by extending the contract.  This SLA is an important vehicle for communicating the value of our services.”

The type of service included in Creditinfo’s SLA includes 24/7 phone support with guaranteed response times; on-site support for critical situations and training; periodic updates and management of the CS5 system; specific performance banchmarks; and technical support as required.

When launched back in 2013, Director General for PCR Department of DAB, Nesar Ahmad Yosufzai called on all the commercial banks to use the system to effectively manage loans and improve the banking system.  The PCR system reduces the risk for the banks, enhances loan data quality, and accelerates loan granting services. Each customer who wants to receive a loan from a financial institute must register in the PCR system.
