Van Reynders
Van Reynders is the new Head of Sales, Creditinfo Tanzania. Van started out his career in credit risk management solutions by joining a leading international Credit Bureau in South Africa in 2006 and through this he built an impressive track record of sales achievements and advancement through a series of progressively higher responsible positions in sales and sales management. He was also part of a small team of bureau specialists that worked on successfully implementing the first credit bureau in Uganda, East Africa in 2009. When he is not strategizing on building sales pipelines, Van ensures that not a minute of his life is spent indoors than what is deemed absolutely necessary.
Van is a competitive surfer, having competed on a national level in South Africa. He is an accomplished all round waterman and free-diver with a 5 minute breath hold and can dive in excess of 100ft without any oxygen apparatus, often with large sharks around… His picture albums are filled with pictures snowboarding in the Alps, big game fishing off his boat in the Zanzibar channel, skydiving, bungee jumping, wakeboarding, kite boarding, MX motocross racing and incredible experiences such as camping in the wild Serengeti and climbing mount Kilimanjaro to name a few. On a recent solo adventure he drove his Land Rover nearly 5000km through South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and across Tanzania to Dar Es Salaam. Needless to say he arrived tired, dirty and with a big smile on his face.
Van also lives out his passion for aeronautics as an avid fixed wing aviator. He aims at becoming a competitive aerobatics pilot and developed his flying skills terrorising the skies along the east coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. All part of working towards a lifelong goal to build his own light sport aircraft by hand and doing a solo circumnavigation of the globe. Needless to say one has to wonder where he finds the time to complete his studies, being a final year part time student, doing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Van intends to do a MBA straight thereafter. Be as it may, we are confident that Van will apply the same level of enthusiasm he has for life to his responsibilities at Creditinfo Tanzania.
