Creditinfo Credit Bureau Expansionist, Eyjólfur Eyjólfsson, based in our office in Iceland got a wonderful birthday surprise on the 15th January. His wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was just 25 minutes away from being born the next day, but she was obviously keen to share a birthday with her Dad. I am sure you will agree she is rather adorable… click on the button below to see what a cutie she is.
We would like to congratulate, Hákon Stefansson, Judy Semple-Joseph, David Falconer and the team at Creditinfo Guyana who have done amazingly good work on lobbying for legislative changes to be put in place to create a legal environment that enables us to run a successful Credit Bureau there. This is a major breakthrough.
As Creditinfo continues to expand, as does our multicultural workforce. With such a diverse group of companies and individuals based in 4 continents, we are exposed to lots of different ideas and points of view. It is very simple to work in our own small bubbles, but if we speak with our colleagues in different countries, we can start to reflect on the narrowness of our view of the world and start thinking outside of the proverbial box. Utilising a variety of viewpoints to solve problems leads to new and innovative solutions.
With every new colleague that joins the Creditinfo family, we become stronger, more creative, more productive.
So, next time you need to find a solution, “phone a friend!” and see what their thoughts are.
Have a great February….p.s. I’d like to thank all the single ladies in advance for their Valentine’s cards!
Creditinfo Kenya’s, CEO, Daniel Kanyi made his first tv debut this month. He was invited to partake in not one but two interviews on national television. The first one was in English (see link below) and was LIVE. Talk about a baptism of fire! The second one was done in a vernacular language (Kikuyu), this tv station has substantial viewership especially outside the city of Nairobi.
This is great promotion and advertising for Crediitnfo that reaches the masses and it was FREE! Nicely done, Daniel!
