Courtney Lodge has joined the Creditinfo Jamaica team

courtney circleCreditinfo Jamaica have appointed specialist consultant, Courtney Lodge, (pictured) who brings to the table a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance and credit.

Courtney Lodge is a Business Transformation Consultant and co-owner of his consulting firm, Strategic Corporate Interventions (SCI) Limited. His assignments have included international consultation and training for/with organizations including the Commonwealth Secretariat (India), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Caribbean Association of Indigenous Bank, and the Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce. He has worked in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. In his native land, Jamaica, he has consulted for organizations such as the Scotia Bank Group, Scotia Life Insurance, HEART Trust/NTA, the Office of the Prime Minister, University of the West Indies, Northern Caribbean University, Derrimon Trading, COK Credit Union, Hanover Credit Union, the Ashe Theatre Arts Company, and numerous primary and high schools across Jamaica.

Mr. Lodge is the immediate past General Manager of Microfinance at the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ), where he led the development and semi-supervision of the microfinance sector.

Over the years, he also served as: Chief Executive Officer of the GSB Co-operative Credit Union; Vice President of Branch Distribution at the Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS); CEO of the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions, where he spearheaded the transformation efforts of over 342 credit unions and their leagues in 18 Caribbean countries; Director and Branch Manager with the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS); Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) with the Jamaica Constabulary Force and worked with the German “FBI”, the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) in Wiesbaden, Germany; and as a Computer Specialist with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, USA.

Mr. Lodge is a Government-appointed Director of Creative Production & Training Centre Limited (CPTC), a Governor on the board of the Media Technology Institute, and a Director of the Jamaica Paralympic Association and the Jamaica Paralympic Foundation. He also served as a Director/Deputy Chairman of the Tacky High School in St. Mary; as a Director/Treasurer of the Jamaica Police Credit Union and GSB Credit Union.

In 2008, Mr. Lodge published his first book, Lives of a Soul. He has been inducted in the Hamilton Knights Associates Hall of Fame as its first Power Speaker, and appeared as a featured guest on Ian Boyne’s Profile.

Mr. Courtney Lodge holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Nova Southeastern University of Florida, USA, and a first class honours (summa cum laude) Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Banking and Finance from the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, DC, USA.
