Sara Nehmat
Operations Support Assistant internship
with CI International
Pictured Sara and Shaz. Many of you or your clients may have heard from Sara Nehmat recently, in relation to the Creditinfo Global Forum. Sara is assisting Emma coordinate all the final details for the conference. She is here on a 3 month internship. Emma would like her to stay longer as she is doing such a great job. Sara is from the UK. Her partner Shaz Yousuf, also carried out his internship with Emma last year and obviously enjoyed his time that much in Malta and with the Creditinfo International / Malta teams, he recommended Sara carry out her internship with us too. Sara will leave us at the end of September.

HR Manager at Creditinfo Solutions
Creditinfo Solutions is expanding – so we welcome Lenka to the team in the role of HR Manager. Lenka has a number of years’ as HR Specialist with a particular focus on the whole range of IT positions. She will be responsible for the complex HR agenda. Lenka speaks English and Czech. Before joining CIS, she worked for a French IT consultancy company. She plans to use the skills and knowledge gained from this role with CIS. Moreover, she will bring her positive attitude to the company. In her free time, she likes hiking and travelling; every time she has a chance she likes to get out and about. Continue reading »

Dagny Franklinsdottir
Dagny is the Business Manager at Creditinfo Iceland. She has been with the company for almost 2 years now, previously working in a similar role at Valitor.is
As per the competition we launched in back in the January 2015 issue of Ivory Towers, Dagny will be now be attending the Global Forum as the winner paid for by Group. Dagny individually sold the most tickets at the highest value directly to clients.

Paul Randall, Director of Business Development and his friends followed the Tour de France route from 50 years ago. Up hill (apparently there were a lot of them) and down dale with only 3 days off the bikes in 3 weeks! Next time we’ll get him a Creditinfo T-shirt.

To Guðmundur Már Ketilsson from our Credit Bureau Expansion team and his lovely bride, Sonja. They got married on Saturday 25th July in Iceland. It was also Gummi’s birthday on the same day…..so he won’t ever forget his wedding anniversary!
Ultimate Frisbee Champ
On June 21, our colleague Jirka Tomášek and his team Frisbee Ultimate Junta became the champions of the Czech and qualified for the European Championship (as the only Czech team). Congratulations

Business Breakfasts in Bratislava
CIS organized an informal meeting and breakfast for several valued Slovakian partners.
The theme of the event was “Credit Scoring and Creditinfo Scorecards”.
From CIS, the hosts were Šárka Horáčková, Radek Bittner, Andrej Mudray, Nataliya Soldatyuk and Jitka Dresslerová. Nataliya and Jitka performed a magnificent presentation and the overall client’s feedback was very good.

Data Exchange Project in Romania
Successfully launched with great initial results
The Data Exchange Project in Romania is well under way, with the IT preparation completed and programming completed. The logic has been finalised and the system has now been implemented. This project is initially being rolled out to specific sectors including fuel, transport, painting, beverages, tobacco.
Alina Vasilache, Sales Director, Creditinfo Romania, delivered a presentation on the new project to a number of local businesses at a recent BNI event. The presentation created a lot of positive interest, to the point the meeting moderator had to stop the audience asking questions.However, at the end of July a further meeting was scheduled for the BNI members who were very interested to join the project together with CIRO and be pioneers to share information about unpaid invoices with the market.
