Corporate Social Responsibility
This month, Reynir was pleased to receive a letter from Yevgeniy Momsikov. Yevgeniy is from Kazakhstan and is sponsored by Creditinfo to further his studies in USA. He is currently living in Boston, Massachusetts with a number of other students close to Harvard University, where he is studying. Yevgeniy has joined the Adams Society debate club having now improved his English language capabilities over the time spent in USA. Yevgeniy expressed his gratitude to Reynir in the letter for Creditinfo’s support in providing him not only with a memorable experience, but in also opening his horizons through this opportunity.
We wish Yevgeniy all the best and lots of success in his studies and future.

The Creditinfo Family is growing – Now more than 400 employees
In the last 3 years, we have more than doubled our number of employees, through acquisitions, new start ups, new partnerships and our original offices growing in strength and requiring more staff to cope with the increased work load.
Many of our staff have been with the organisation more than 7 years, some well in excess of a decade. Not only do we have a loyal core team, we also have some very experienced and knowledgeable people.
Monitoring Product launched in Iceland
Creditinfo Iceland have launched a new product this month for companies to monitor their customers. Our customer just uploads the social security numbers of their customers and will receive an email once a day about any changes as well as having an online dashboard where they can see all of the information.
Players of the Month – Creditinfo Academy Speakers in Kenya
This month, Creditinfo Kenya, successfully held a Creditinfo Academy 2 day training session on “Improving your credit risk management through innovative credit bureau solutions”. 3rd Regional CIS Conference in Kenya
Credit Information Sharing association (CIS) regional conferences are held in Nairobi to help create awareness on the developments of CIS in Kenya and the region. 聽This is a 2 day regional conference arranged by CIS Kenya, followed by a 2 day National Business Community Summit.
脼贸rhallur J贸hannsson joined the Creditinfo family as Chief Finance Officer for the Group
On the 15th February,聽脼贸rhallur J贸hannsson joined the Creditinfo family as Chief Finance Officer for the Group. We have to admit, we took rather a long time in finding the right person, but we believe it was worth the wait. This means that Tryggvi can finally go back to focusing on the Icelandic operation. We are grateful for him for basically doing two jobs at the same time and feel a bit (but only a bit!) guilty about taking so long in making the change.
Central bank of Belarus presented Creditinfo model for commercial banks
The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus聽recently聽presented the Creditinfo developed credit score in a specialized banking magazine.
Winning in Morocco – Sign agreement
On Wednesday 17th February, Creditinfo and Bank Al-Maghrib (the Moroccan central bank), represented by its Managing Director (pictured centre), signed the new delegation management contract related to the Moroccan Credit Bureau, this agreement allows Creditinfo to continue the operation of the Moroccan credit bureau for a period of 25 years, and to provide banks; finance institutions and microfinance institutions with credit information on consumers and companies through standard Credit reports in addition to value added products that should be implemented in the coming months. Creditinfo Kenya and HELB partnership launch

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) together with the聽Creditinfo CRB Kenya Ltd (CIK) have launched strategic a partnership that aims to support聽HELB to make faster, better and more informed credit decisions, champion responsible聽lending, promote financial inclusion and facilitate expansion of credit to the education聽sector. The partnership will be a first of its kind in Kenya meaning that HELB can use credit聽scoring and other Creditinfo CRB systems and services to lend to mature students who may聽already be employed and who have credit profiles at the CRB. Almar's Monthly – Remember the beach ball
Hello Folks,
I’m not talking about holidays this month, although I know a lot of you are planning or already have enjoyed vacations. Many of you have been skiing in the last few weeks and some of you are off to far flung places in the next few months. I too love to travel, and when I do, one thing that strikes me each time when meeting new people is how we communicate with each other. Congratulations to Eyjo
Creditinfo Credit Bureau Expansionist, Eyj贸lfur Eyj贸lfsson, based in our office in Iceland got a wonderful birthday surprise on the 15th January. His wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was just 25 minutes away from being born the next day, but she was obviously keen to share a birthday with her Dad. Players of the Month – Creditinfo Guyana team
We would like to congratulate, H谩kon Stefansson, Judy Semple-Joseph, David Falconer and the team at Creditinfo Guyana who have done amazingly good work on lobbying for legislative changes to be put in place to create a legal environment that enables us to run a successful Credit Bureau there. This is a major breakthrough.
Almar's Monthly – As a team we are stronger!
Hello Everyone,
As Creditinfo continues to expand, as does our multicultural workforce. With such a diverse group of companies and individuals based in 4 continents, we are exposed to lots of different ideas and points of view. It is very simple to work in our own small bubbles, but if we speak with our colleagues in different countries, we can start to reflect on the narrowness of our view of the world and start thinking outside of the proverbial box. Utilising a variety of viewpoints to solve problems leads to new and innovative solutions.
With every new colleague that joins the Creditinfo family, we become stronger, more creative, more productive.
So, next time you need to find a solution, “phone a friend!” and see what their thoughts are.
